Good morning y'all. A chilly 37 degrees with high in upper 70s and sunny. Not sure what's on agenda today but will definitely include some wind therapy time. Everyone be safe out there.

Good morning, morning people. It is 31°F but will be 51° when I roll out around 1000 for Rex's 5K mile check up this morning. Temp keeps going up another 10 degrees.

Our Daffodils are coming on strong now and we love arriving home to their bright color. Pretty Pillion was trying to get the girls to pose for her.

Morning y'all. 50 degrees out and hazy, high supposed to be mid 70s and sunny.
Going to do some outside chores I didn't do yesterday. With these nice temperatures I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully everyone enjoys the second half on the weekend.

Monday for me. 31F at the moment and up to low 40s later - possibly some sun, who knows. A ton of administrative stuff to get done so on my butt at the computer for the day. Gonna be all tire smoke and tail lights right at about 3pm. I am really not into being here today.

Just look for the black and white Nomad!
I looked but did not locate. I was parked with about 10 other bikes at the SE side of the competition and vendor areas. I saw some bikes parked at the north side of the competition area but I thought those were police bikes.

Oh well, I guess we didn't do a very good job of figuring out how to identify ourselves and won't be getting a passing grade on organizing any parties.......LOL

Good morning folks. It is 35°F this morning rising about 20° by sunset.
Rex got his 5,000-mile checkup yesterday and I got about four hours of wind therapy. Spring is in the air, and it went up my nose. I so love the look of new growth on the trees, but the darn pollen is evil. Still, the visual site of daffodils and crocus blooming is beautiful.

Mornin fellas. Made a quick trip in to work this morning to get the troops all marching in the same direction and I’m back home now waiting on contractors to come drywall the upstairs hall ceiling. It would take me a weekend by myself and these guys are gonna do it done and taped ready for paint in a day. No brainer.

Good morning folks, it is 43°F rising ten degrees today. We have high wind warnings today so be careful on the water. I bet I will get at least one person at work talk to me about riding in high winds and how dangerous it must be. It never fails...

Friday can't come fast enough. Everything set for a ride down to Charlote NC to meet up with my Florida bunch. We will stay at an AIRBNB, visit Carowinds amusement park and go on a mountain hike. Fun to be had with four grandsons and my oldest granddaughter.

Good morning good people. It is 35°F here in Northern Virginia rising to 51°. I am watching the weather guessers for my ride on Friday. it is about 6 hours from home to Fort Mill, SC where I meet up with my Florida bunch. Right now, it starts raining at 0800 here and follows me all the way down. It looks like I can't avoid it on part of the ride and once there, it will be raining a good part of the day. It dries out for Sat and Sun activities and appear to be wet for my ride home. Time will tell...

"Weather guessers", I like that!

My daughter's visiting this week. She inherited my cousin's 2006 Mini Cooper S and the headliner is falling down. Today our goal is to remove and attach new headliner material. Should be an interesting project. The car is (mostly) in good shape and runs great. She even learned how to drive a manual transmission just to have this car. Since it's a northern car (NY) I had to treat all the corrosion under the car and replace all the brake lines that failed due to corrosion. The rest of the car is in great condition 'cause my cousin was meticulous in it's care. Daddy-daugher projects are always fun no matter the outcome!

Mornin all. I get it about the northern cars CG. It was really bad back in the 70s - they just used tons of rock salt and the paint and prep on the cars wasn;t as good as it is now. They switched over to the brine spray before the weather moved in and then just throw salt after now. Less salt damage on the body and frame but I find the brine seems to corrode brake lines now worse than the rock salt did.

Have a good day all.

Morning y'all. Slow moving here, need a third or maybe fourth cup of coffee. I'm the one in the right lane going under the speed limit right now. Enjoy your Hump Day.

@CarGuy, seems like a nice project, don't throw the back and neck out working on the headliner. I did on resenty and was sore for a few days from working over head.

Good morning folks. It is 35°F going to 53°. Ms. Elie woke me a tad bit early needing to dewater. I tried to get her to lay back down and let me sleep the next 30 minutes till the alarm goes off, but she was insistent.

The one-cup Keurig machine Pretty Pillion got me for Christmas has been pulling its weight quite well. Even with me being gone with work for several weeks since then, it has made just over 125 cups so far. Not that I am keeping count mind you, but 125 K-cups are what come in the box I buy at Costco. And I am taking another one of these K-cup boxes into work this morning as I ran out yesterday. One must always have their coffee logistics in order you know...

I was raised in NY in the late 50's and 60's. Yes, I'm that old! Every time it snowed the salt came out. Cars were rusty within a few years of new. I have a 21 year old GMC Envoy that was bought here (in Texas) and the undercarriage still looks new, and so does the rest of it. Under the Mini it's a different story. He did keep it covered and with the exception of a small bit of exterior rust near one taillight is in great shape. Fun little car! BTW, the headliner replacement was easier than anticipated and it looks great!

Morning y'all. Had some warranty work done on my cabin floor yesterday, gotta move all the furniture back today. The crew was going to move it back but wife told them to leave it as she might want to move it around some. Looks like I'm furniture moving today.

My pick up is a 2013 F-150 that started the first 4 years of it's life as a company truck for an engineering company in northern Ontario. It sat in the yard and was used for trips to jobsites. I've had it down here for 6 years & I was impressed by how very little rust is under it. A few bubbles but that is it. You are right, a 10 year old truck in the 70s was likely beyond repair.

So wife supervised and gave moral support on moving the furniture. I moved almost everything what seems like 10 time. Then she said put everything back like it was, figured. I'll be sore tomorrow.

Mornin all. Looking to get some snow today, 6” or so. I don’t see spring anywhere in the 10 day forecast. This is getting old.

Speaking of getting old, my dad turns 83 today and after some doctor’s appointments mom and I will take him out for fish & chips and a banana split.

Have a great day.
