Good Morning! Today I'm leading a small group through some back roads and ending up at The Gas Station outside of Bastrop TX. It's where some Texas Chain Saw Massacre scenes were filmed. Today it's a bbq restaurant with plenty of Chain Saw memorabilia. Should be an interesting place to visit. Their website swears they no longer serve people. We'll see. Temps going up to about 70° but starting out a little cool at about 60°.

Morning y'all. Supposed to be rainy and cooler, mid 40s as low, for the next few days. My dirt road makes riding difficult, might put the charger on bike. :(
Everyone enjoy your Hump Day.

The trike should be good in the dirt, no? Compared to a bike how is the weight distribution? Does it shift backwards a bit or does the added weight total make it about the same on the front? I gotta think it lifts the front easier with the increased meat out back.

The trike actually does dirt well. I hate cleaning the mud so normally wait till road is pretty dry before heading out. Weight distribution is pretty balanced. I popped a wheely right after I got it. First you have to turn off traction control, then hang on. It raised the front up to about a 45 degree angle, which was surprisingly weird feeling. It stayed up on the 1st to second shift, then I sat it down. I won't say that I won't do it again, but probably not, it's to big to do this much. Keeping traction control on is best as it really assists on cornering at questionable speeds.

Well of course you had to bring it up at least once. I would expect nothing less from an old drag racer. With all the tire you have in the back I would think traction control doesn’t kick in much. That should hook up real good.

Status update: It is currently sunny. Both dogs, the 50 or so fish, and I are soaking it up while we can, rain again tomorrow.

Don't have to worry about the beer getting hot, oh wait, you probably drink it to fast to get hot.

Good morning folks. It is dry here in Northern Virginia today. The temp is 29°F now but climbing to 61° later.
I am still in recovery from the time change and decided to go into work late today. I just cannot seem to get myself going yet. Someone must have stolen the caffeine out of my coffee. Maybe that crisp air will wake me up in a few minutes...

Morning y'all, I guess. Wind started up a bit ago. I've had a whistling noise at higher winds on deck and was very annoying. My pups were hearing it, barking and howling trying to figure out what it was. So I throw some pants on, head outside to see. Turns out when the wind blew just right one of my metal and fabric chairs was making the noise. One of the legs has lost it's plastic cap and was turning into an untuned flute. A piece of tape fixed it for now. Now I'm wide awake at 2am. Been constantly 20mph winds for a while with 27mph gusts. Been getting some rain, but not very hard.

Happy St. Patrick's Day one and all. The day we are all a little bit Irish; except the Scots, they are still Scottish.

It is 50° going up to 62°. Clouds later and rain after dark.

I know many go for the green beer, but I much more prefer a good Irish Red Stout or ale.

The males are bigger than me. They can have the pups, just leave me alone. Where they were spotted is about 20 miles from me.

Good morning folks, I hope you are able to function after yesterday's activities. That is, if you did them correctly.
Pretty Pillion and I went to our favorite local restaurant (Montclair Family Restaurant) for some Corn beef and cabbage. So delicious!

It is 43° going to 53° today. Ms Elie awoke me at 0255 to go outside. She had been out at midnight, so I told her to wait. She insisted so up I get. By the time I made it to the bottom of the stairs, she squatted on the runner and let it go. Note to self, cut the hound off at four beers next time...

Interesting, we have some hungry kitties up the road.
There's a valley about 2 miles from me where those kitties are present called Purgatory Creek. Lot's of hiking trails throughout and while they've been seen, there haven't been any conflicts with them that I'm aware of. Stay alert, though!

Morning y'all. My youngest son, 41, and his family came yesterday. Had a great visit especially with the two granddaughters. They just stayed the day. It's currently 39 and raining here, so no outside plans today. Everyone enjoy your weekend

Good morning to you all. It's not as good for me though. I didn't mention I felt poorly yesterday but it has lingered to today now. I am one who does not get sick often. Maybe once every four or five years. Heck even when I had C-19 it was nothing more than a weak cough. My head has ached for two straight days now and my body feels as if I was in a bike crash complete with the broken rib feel.
Pretty Pillion and I were going to take the girls out for a long walk yesterday, but we stayed in. We are going to stay in again today as she too is under the weather. We did venture out for some ice-cream though, I helped for about 30 minutes. Now, it is back to maximum hydration.
It is 35°F at the moment with a chill wind. I took the girls out to do their business just now and the little one was quick to run back to the front door to get back inside. The temp is dropping right now down to 28°, they guess, then up to maybe 43° later.

Hope you & Pillion feel better Boog. I have had a nasty headache for a couple days, likely the result of the ever changing weather - nothing like what you two have though.

21F and -1F with the wind chill. Spring arrives at 5:30pm tomorrow.
