How about we start a Breakfast Club thread. There's several of us that get up pretty early and check the new posts. Posts here don't need to be motorcycle related, just a good morning, something about the weather and maybe a mention of wants on your days agenda.

Good morning moto-family, it is 61° going to 65 with rain all day.

My 14 potatoes all came up and are looking healthy. These are the small diameter variety. I broke open a wheat straw bale and mulch around them.

The 13 days of rain that @lesblank spoke of has been a bust for my area so far. We had enough "drops" a few days ago to force an occasional swipe of windshield wipers, but that's it. There are still more days to come so my fingers are crossed tightly for rain. We need it!

Morning y'all. We had major rain and hail last night, kept me up. Looked after sun came up and no damage other than a few deeper water run off ruts. To wet and nasty to ride or any outside projects. @CarGuy, seems most of rain has stayed south of I-10. Hopefully everyone enjoys the day.

Here's my low water crossing this morning. @ironbuttbill , this is the one on Whartons Dock right past Flying L. They said it was not passable for a few hours.

Is the lake filling back up?
Not yet, needs alot more than one day of rain. But, having the ground saturated will help if the rains keep it up.

Good morning folks. it is 47° here in north Virginia going to 73°F with loads of sunshine the guesser tells me.

Pretty Pillion and I take off early in the morning to Las Vegas. She returns Monday and I go play for two weeks in high desert. Lots of fun, too bad I can't ride out...

Good Morning. The rain gods finally delivered a little yesterday afternoon. About 1/4" is all, but it's the most we've had in a while. @lesblank, those flash floods can pop up pretty quick, especially on that caliche you live in.

Here's hopes that everyone has a great day!

Morning y'all. Still wet and just down right messy today. My road is passable but ain't taking bike anywhere. I'd have to clean mud off for days. Nothing exciting going on here. Everyone enjoy your Hump Day!

Mornin all. Sunny and up around 70F this afternoon. Bike is running but now clutch won't disengage. I checked the fluid level in the reservior and the actuator, will have to wait till the weekend when my friend can come over with his 50mm socket.

Jeepers it has been a struggle. It is the first year I winterized the bike and didn't start it up weekly over the winter. I am thinking I will be going back to the weekly start ups next time it hibernates.

Have a great day all.

Maybe the clutch plates are just hydro locked. Sometimes the oil on plates will "stick" them together. Put it in a higher gear and rock back and forth.

Walked out and looked at "lake". No water yet, but rancher moved cows, maybe some water is starting to pool.

Morning y'all. Nothing exciting here, except double check my readiness stuff with 10+ inches of rain the next few days. This will be the first real test to see if my property layout is good as far as water runoff. Everyone enjoy the second half of the week.

That is a lot of rain Les. I'm hoping it fills that lake a bit.

Good morning from Las Vegas Vacation land. It's 69° going to 91°F. Pretty Pillion is fast asleep and I have no coffee in this room! I seem to find forget that if you go to a fancy place, they have less to offer in the room. Guess I'll go down to a coffee shop.

She and I are headed out to Red Rocks before lunch and if timing works, see another forum member at breakfast.

We dud get some pool time yesterday so that is nice. And saw this cool work of art in the lobby.

Morning all. Heading to 77F and sunny this afternoon. I couldn’t get a 50mm socket but have a 2”. It is very slightly larger by a couple thou but should still provide the required fit.

I am off to take a flower basket or two to my Mom for Mothers Day as I will be working tomorrow. After that I may get a chance to figure out my clutch. I did try to rock it back and forth in gear Les. Unfortunately it doesn’t roll easily in neutral so that indicates failed friction plates jamming the works. I hope not.

Good morning folks, we survived the first full day of Nevada. We did meet a buddy for breakfast where the breakfast pizza is awesome and he told us about an awesome oasis with a dare farm and amazingly delicious Date shakes.
Red Rocks is beautiful scenery.
Temperature will ht tge low 90s today.

Morning y'all. Was definitely a massive light show last night with all the lightning. We did get a lot of rain, but no where close to the flooding amounts they were predicting. Supposed to be several days like this. Hopefully everyone enjoys the weekend.

I took Pretty Pillion to our favorite restaurant in Vegas for breakfast today, Blueberry Hill. The pancakes here are the best if any restaurant I have tried. And that buttermilk biscuit is so light and fluffy. The ham steak is grilled to perfection with the right amount of salt.
