How about we start a Breakfast Club thread. There's several of us that get up pretty early and check the new posts. Posts here don't need to be motorcycle related, just a good morning, something about the weather and maybe a mention of wants on your days agenda.

Just got back from mowing at the farm. I am currently feeding the koi and having a beer. The will to do anything else today is slipping away quickly.

Morning all. Sunny here. Actually, it looks lke we are gonna go into a bit of a dry spell. Unusual for us. No rain in the forcast for 10 days.

Pulled the clutch yesterday. as soon as I pulled the cover off I could smell fuel and more oil than usual came out. I got fuel in the oil. That could explain the clutch issue. I will have to pick up some oil & change it out. Clutch looked spotless though.

Not sure Les. Petcock was brand new OEM last season. Vacuum type - has no off position. Turning the fuel lever to point down is direct fill, used to fill your carbs with out running the bike. I am wondering if I left it in fill at one point. The floats and needles are all also new OEM last season and dead on for spec height. Likely my bone head move leaving it open and on the side stand. The carbs share a fuel line - 1&2 and 3&4. On the side stand 1 & 3 are the higher of the two carbs. I am wondering if the higher carbs allowed fuel in and the float height was above the lower carb?

Either way, the tank has to come off and I need to sync the carbs. I will do an oil change & sync then reassess the mess. I'll likely run that oil for a day then change it. It is oil cooled and about a quart sits in the rad that doesn't drain out.

Another possibility is I simply dumped that fuel in trying to get it to run. It is very rich when cranking & I cranked a lot before I sorted out the issue. I even had it running on two cylinders while I tried to source the misfire. That was a lot of fuel. Most spit out the exhaust in a mist but I am sure a lot eventually washed down past the rings.

Good morning folks from warming up Las Vegas. It will climb into the mid 90s again.
We watched Cirque-du-Soleil Beatles Love last night and loved it. Wow they are busy on that stage and the floor changes too. You should go see thus.
Today is a lazy day by the pool till it gets too hot. Later, one of my cousins flies in and we will eat supper with them.

This constant threat of rain is really ruining my riding. Yesterday we picked up another 1/10th of an inch, bringing my total to 1.8" so far during this current bout. Nowhere near what was forecast. But with the overcast skies and rain showing on the radar in the area it's an easy decision to not ride. For the brief periods the sun comes out the humidity just soars!

Well spent all day long working on PC, Windows 10 Desktop. There was a corrupt windows file that caused system not to recognize Word or any another of the Microsoft Programs. Did several recovers and still no go. So a Windows dump and reload was needed. Didn't have enough room to mirror data so moved to a few cards. Reloaded Windows, imported files and all seems to good. Was definitely a pain. Good thing, it's working better and faster than it has in years. Yes, I need a system, but I'm cheap.

That is a pain Les. I got a call from work that required me to log in to the server from home a few nights ago. It was at that time my laptop decided it had to update & there wasn't a cancel or do later option. Was fun watching the little icon spin...no, no it wasn't.

You still getting rain down there?

Morning y'all. Pups feed, deer feed and sipping coffee. Yes, we're still getting showers, just enough to keep things wet. Was hoping for ride today but rain shower last night has kept road muddy yet another day. Everyone enjoy their Taco Tuesday.

Good morning folks, Pretty Pillion made it home last night and vacation is over. My team all made it here last night as well and off to the high desert we go in an hour or so. Two weeks of fun in the sun.
I may be on here and there but not a lot of cell coverage out there.
Have a great day!

Mornin all. Had a touch of frost last night. Brought the seedlings in to be safe. I will lilkely get them in the ground this weekend.

May 24th is Victoria Day long weekend here and observed on the closest Monday - so this weekend. "May Two Four" as it is commonly referred to, is a pun on both the date, and the common slang for a case of 24 beer. It is considered the unofficial start of summer.

Well, the dog woke me up just before 4am! She must of heard the thunder approaching. She's terrified of thunder! Anyway, I start my computer and coffee and take her outside to do her "thing". In the middle of my front yard is what looks like a group of mushrooms. On further investigation it turns out to be a newborn bambi! Tiny little thing. My dog decides she wants to check it out and while she's sniffing it the bambi gets up and moves to another location. Sure glad my dog doesn't chase animals unless she's told, and she's too old now to give a crap anyway. First bambi of the year! So now I'm sitting here listening to the thunder and hoping for rain. Fingers crossed.

Very cool about the baby deer. It is that time of year.

Rained today for most of the day . Put a couple inches of water in the pond, fish are happy.

Good Morning all! Just a bit of rain yesterday. 1/10th " to be exact. Going out on a ride with some friends (yes, I have friends!) later this morning. I don't know if this is the same fawn that I saw yesterday morning, but this mama was showing off her youngster in the afternoon.
