How about we start a Breakfast Club thread. There's several of us that get up pretty early and check the new posts. Posts here don't need to be motorcycle related, just a good morning, something about the weather and maybe a mention of wants on your days agenda.

Morning y'all. Looks to be another wet day for me. Carla and I went to Kerrville yesterday for some shopping. I might be complaining about all the rain and not being able to ride, but the country side sure is green and nice looking. Anyway, no outside projects today.

Morning y'all. No rain in forecast for next few days. Hopefully today I can wash the mud off my trike from getting stuck in rain and get ready for some riding after my dirt road dries. Everyone enjoy the new week.

Good Morning. Due to the spotty rain 2 days ago I wasn't able to get out on a ride. Today I've got a short one to nearby New Braunfels for the Patriot Guard. Not a long ride but any ride is better than no ride. Rain is forecast for late today but my Nomad and I will be asleep when that happens.

I hope everyone has a great day today! Be safe, but have fun!

Morning y'all. Been a busy morning. Got Carla loaded up and on the road. She's driving to Houston today, spending night at one of the son's, meeting other grandmother, flying to South Carolina for grandson's graduation. She will be gone a week. We have a granddaughter also graduating here in Texas, I'm going to that one. I'm riding there, Eastland, Texas, about 4 hours away on Thursday and returning on Sunday. I'm looking forward to the ride and spending time with some of our grandkids. Enjoy your Taco Tuesday.

Mornin Les. Busy as a three-legged cat in a sandbox lately. Got a few tomato plants planted & that is sorted out. I might pull the cover off the pool this weekend & assess it's condition. I am sure I will be getting asked to have it open soon.

Morning y'all. Granddaughters graduation is today. She's made me proud, graduated a year early, got 4 different scholarships thru cheer and FFA. We're just hanging around today after graduation and family party is tomorrow. Life is good.

Everyone, meet the new graduate.

Good morning from my last day in Nevada. While it is nice to be back in civilization, there is a lot of nice things to be said about the high desert.

Vik is waiting for Kermit to finish this short climb

Desert flowers are cool.

I took Kermit up to see the lay of the land.

Poppy fields are in full bloom.

Well, like George Castanza (of “Seinfeld” show) said: “I’m BACK, baby”. I haven’t been on the forum since early April. I wasn’t able to ride much in April, save the warm up mid-month; cold, rain, sleet, and fat rain the rest of the month. My wife of 50 yrs has been laid up with back and leg pain so I don’t do any overnight rides. I canceled trips to AR and IN as well as ND (that’s the Amazing Challenge treasure hunt in Spearfish ND (Black Hills area). I was really looking forward to seeing that area…but the missus recovery is the priority. But through local day rides, RTE, and fun run contest for IL district of EWMA I’ve put on more than 2k mi. this yr. Silva now has over 70k now.
Now about what Les wrote earlier:
Morning y'all. Had one heck of a gully washer last night. Not sure how much but puddles everywhere. Sun's starting to peak over hills so looks to be nice day. Been trying to figure out what has been setting off rear motion light in the dog run. This morning I look out and have three deer on outside of fence eating grass, mystery solved. Guess they heard me talking about the grass and weeds getting high by the cliff. Poor picture, it's thru a wet window.

When I visited TX the locals would call heavy rains “frog strangler” . Question Les: how does that compare with a gully washer ?
Oh, here’s me on theater hunt:

Good morning folks, I'm back at my own computer this morning. Finished breakfast and getting ready to ride up to a buddy's place to prep for the long weekend.
Stay out there this weekend and enjoy life. Remember those who cannot ride with us.

Dan, I hope the missus gets better soon brother.

Thanks for the thought. Donna’s tough - she’s going to physical therapy and doing her home exercises, gotta get better.
Fly our flag today and every day with pride and remember those that sacrificed for us…

Afternoon y'all. Late night last night with graduation and dinner afterwards. Here's a few pictures from last night of granddaughter and my youngestson. No, I didn't approve of her dress, and yes, I'm really that short.

Congrats to all - enjoy the moment - I don’t see any shrinking violets there. We just saw our second youngest grandson graduate HS; one pic Jeremy with my wife and I - the other pic is his goofy dad…

Going to ride out with a new group this AM. Destination is a biker bar/restaurant called Poopy’s in Savanna IL about 140 mi away if you take the curvy route, about 100 if you don’t. I’ll record trip on Relive app and if it comes out good, I’ll post. I’m still learning about it…

Mornin all. Sorry fellas, I have been scarce lately. A bunch of stuff going on. My neighbor next door was diagnosed with cancer & given days to weeks. He passed Tuesday. I have been busy doing stuff around his place getting ready for the eventual visitors who began showing up. He was a good guy & will be missed. Sadly my other neighbor is in the same boat and I've been busy over there too. Sorry for the sad news, just part of life I guess.

Outside of that, I've been out with the camera a bit & looking to do some artwork for the first time in a few decades. The bike is still down, looking for a kickstand switch now.

It is great weather at the moment, pulled the cover off the pool yesterday & got it cleaned out. Maybe I will get it filled by tomorrow.

Have a great day all.
