This thread gives you the opportunity to brag about yourself and or machine. If you have never heard of biker games, you may be in for a treat as folks fill in the blanks.

I'll start. We all know about motorcycle racing, but not all races are fast.

Below is a picture of me on the Brahma. I am racing against a Sportster, I won! This race is a typical "Backyard Race" where two bikes run side by side and the last to cross the line wins. Riding on grass is not always easy and if bumps or uneven terrain are present, even more difficulty. If a rider puts their foot down, they are out of that round. Sportsters usually win these due to their weight being so much less than the big touring cruisers. My buddy Dave in the shorts was none too happy getting out slowed by a big Triumph.

Now, let's see and read about some of your victories or at least challenges on a bike. Keep in mind if your pictures have women in them, they need to stay within community standards. I mean those of the forum, not the biker world standards... ;-)

Not race, but definitely a challenge. This is the first time I road from Houston to new land in Bandera. The challenge was getting the 900+ pound bike down my dirt road. You might not be able to tell, but this first ride on this dirt road was a pucker moment. It's a long video, fast forward to 26 minute mark for dirt road. Remember, each time I now go for a ride i go up and down this road.

I don’t have any pictures or video cause it was 1974 and I was 12. My father bought me a late ‘60’s Yamaha DT-1 mini enduro. I loved that bike. REALLY loved that bike. I practiced everything from sliding around corners like the dirt track guys to jumping off ramps line a motocross and doing trials. I was 12 and had no fear. I actually got pretty good at trials given my playground was a few hundred acres of the Niagara Escarpment covered in boulders and logs.

I had a subscription to Canadian Motorcycle Magazine and there was a trial’s competition outside London Ont a couple hours away. My father got me a CMA membership and I was issued number 117. I think I ended up 7th or 8th out of 20. I never competed again but it was huge for a 12 year old. I wish o even had a picture of the bike!

Looking back now I realize buying the bike was a big investment for my folks and the trip to London to compete was likely also a stretch. I appreciate it all the more knowing that. I have often considered building a video rage race bike for a local series here in Ontario and if I ever do you can bet 117 will be my number.

In that same backyard, we one held weinnie races. If you are not aware, a hot dog weinnie is hung from above approximately 6 to 7' above the ground. A rider with a pillion behind will ride slowly underneath and said pillion will grab the weinnie with her teeth; no hands allowed. Here is a picture for reference:

Doing this on pavement is tough enough but we did it on grass.

The only year that my Pretty Pillion was there for the race, I talked her into competing with the other ladies. She was actually excited. She had never seen this before and innocently thought it would be great fun. A couple of the other Island girls (they don't do this evidently) present looked concerned when they saw us mounting up for our first run at the weinnie. (Evidently, they knew but were not able to tell my girl about it).

Well, we lined up and I told her nothing fancy, just bite it as I slowly roll by. She thought that since I had won the slow speed race, that this was easy for me to control with her wiggling back there while she stood on the floorboards trying to reach that weinnie.

We made three passes and she got it on the third pass. The crowd was cheering for her even the girls in the know.

Later, she confided in me that she felt like this had something to do with oral sex. I said naw, not with all the children around. A few minutes later, I felt a solid punch in the shoulder and Pretty Pillion was somewhat upset with me after talking to those other girls about it.

We have not held the weinnie races since as two set of rider teams went down on the grass and got hurt. One of the more drunk girls got a nasty burn on her leg from the exhaust of the bike that fell on her.

If I run across any pictures of our own race, I post up.
