That looks great. I love Shepherds Pie. The version my family makes is very similar but the beef goes in the bottom by itself then cans of corn are poured over in a middle layer before the taters are on top. I’ll try it like you did next time.

This is the perfect time of year for it. I can verify for my Texas brothers, if you shovel snow for a couple hours, a bowl of ShepPie may well be remembered as the best food you ever ate.

Up here it is common to have whiskey in your coffee before you head out to clear the snow. Also had a cup while you try to start the snow blower, and while you fix the snow blower, and while you snow blow. I had to buy a new snowblower as I could no longer afford the whiskey required to keep it running.
