I'm mainly here as to see how a new forum progresses from the ground up. Given who's running this one I imagine it will take off like wildfire and become really active.

I'm an administrator on the EX500 and Kawasaki Versys sites.

My bikes:

2006 EX500

2004 XT225

Both purchased new. I have 126,000 miles on the EX, and 28,000 miles on the XT.

Hello @bpe I'm glad to run into you here. My Youngest son still has my Ex-wife's EX500. I cannot for the life of me understand why he won't keep it on the road though. Sure, Denver gets a little snow once in a while but for Pete's sake, he's my son!

That actually happened to another member a little while back. If I'm not mistaken, there's nothing that can be done on our end. The other member simply couldn't log in at work. But I will look into it.

In the other instance I mentioned, our member couldn't get on social media sites but never had a problem getting on ours. Until the day that he couldn't.
He got an error message that read:
Error 1020 Ray ID 685dbf68dd53d0b8

In his case it just automatically fixed itself a couple of days later. I would suggest trying back every day or so and see what happens. Our main fix-it guy is on vacation right now anyway.

I am fairly certain it is the security setup the base requires we have on our system. I am on five other motorcycle forums, and they are all accessible (most days); the EX-500 has not been available to me at work for close to two years now.

I will try again to get my son to join as he is a landscaper in Denver and work slows down some this time of year. He'll have more time to work on the little Ninja I think...
