Hello from the Texas Hill Country. Been riding for 60 years plus if you count mini bikes. I've ridden mainly East Coast, Blue Ridge area and a lot of Texas over the years. I recently retired, April 2022, sold my house in Houston to escape the rat race and have a cabin in the Hill Country with my beautiful wife. I've owned way to many to list but currently down to two. My Vulcan 900 as my one up scoot around ride.

And my resent purchase as my two up ride. My knees ain't what they used to be and riding with my wife is my therapy.

I'm ASE certified and a certified nut when it comes to anything with wheels.

On a side not, I really am a nut with a warped sense of humor. I do a lot of nutty things and enjoy life. My nickname from years past is "Loose Nut", that's a story on it's own. To give you an idea what I'm talking about, yep, that's me.

Hopefully this site will grow into the "Go to" site for Motorcycle Therapy with resources of destinations, routes, hotels, food and technology that makes getting out and riding more enjoyable

Welcome! I Love that trike. In my books mini bikes count - maybe not towards road experience but they certainly count in your heart. Honestly some of my best rides were on a Yamaha 60 Enduro and it is still my favorite bike.

We should get along well, I have a gorilla mask in the garage I have been caught wearing while working on my bikes - just to keep the wife on her toes.

Enjoy the site.

I'm pretty sure the back problems I have now are due to the minibike riding I did when I was a preteen. One hand on the throttle and the other on the governor. Wide open 5 horses Baby!
When I lived in NY as a kid just 14 yo, I did the same. Only I paid the price with the tip of a finger getting pulled into the chain. OUCH! To make things worse, it was during an ice storm and getting to the doc's office was challenging, to say the least.

Just hope you don’t end up like this.

That’s what I ended up with. Doc couldn’t fix everything but he reduced most of the pain. But now I can’t hardly do anything. Trying to learn how to do things differently is a real pain.

All of a sudden my old age aches and pains just went away for a little while....wow......those Xrays are scary and impressive at the same time. Glad you got some relief and hopefully you can find some more as time goes.....

To be honest I'm not sure I'd do it again. It truly is life changing. But I had to try it as my urologist said it had to be my back that shut my bladder down. So there was hope the nerves would grow back together and start functioning again. I just think I've gone well past my expiration date.
