Imgur Photo Hosting

I don't think photos posted anonymously on Imgur will be able to be found through their site. The information of where it came from is attached to the image but there's no index of them unless they're linked to a user account. You probably have to back them up individually from wherever you posted them to, then repost them individually. That's my understanding anyway.
At least there's warning this time. When Photobucket pulled the plug they just held the images hostage unless you coughed up a few hundred a year to become a member.
The Photobucket debacle gutted a lot of established enthusiast's forums, and I think it's one of the leading reasons for the decline in their popularity. This move will probably contribute even more to that. Very few people are willing to painstakingly redo the work they did over the years prior.
Fortunately that won't hurt a forum that's this young.

I lost alot of pics when Photobucket went paid for only.

I still have a small freebee PB account that I keep to pizz them off, they keep sending me notices that hot linking is not allowed from freebee sites but I can upgrade for $xxx.

Yah rite. After that I found a place to rent server space and now host my own smileys and videos and such, cost is less than half what PB wants.

I have used Imgur free before.

I haven’t used imgur much of at all. May have tried it. I had a lot in Photobucket - Dropbox too. Now I typically upload video to YouTube. For projects it is easier than typing long descriptions and posting lots of photos. A little more entertaining too.

I use Gallery on my phone and it is backed up to my ICloud account. It is easy enough to post pics from there.

Hmm , I guess they haven't gotten to me yet .
I moved or copied all the images I had on PB long ago . I left 'stuff' there to help take up their server space .

Yep, ain't much "free" now days.

Never really has been , Les .
There's always been some price to pay for almost everything in life .

That is sad but not suprising. I tried to move a bunch of stuff out. They make it a slow process on purpose.

You should be able to copy to your hard drive .
Postimages — free image hosting / image upload can grab/snatch from a URL , like PB .
That might take a while if you have tons of images .
