Welcome! Full time RV'ing must have it's therapeutic benefits as well, no? When I was in my early twenties I spent most of a year travelling the country in a GMC Rally Wagon that I converted to a mini RV, just like all these kids are doing nowadays on YouTube. It's one of the best things I've ever done. At this point, the distant call of full timing seems to be getting closer :)

Hello @pdcand welcome from Virginia.
what bikes do you guys take with you?
Do you trailer or let the bike ride inside. We are considering a toy hauler in a few years.

Glad you joined us. Hopefully I'll get to ride over your way soon before you head up north and we'll grab a cup of coffee. Would be great to here about some of your destinations and waypoints as you travel around.

Having wheels under our home definitely has benefits , many are therapeutic .
Ha . During my early 20s I had a Chevy van . It was equipped with stereo ( a bunch of speakers everywhere ) , a twin mattress and coverings ( for practicing those night moves ) , which left just enough room for my Kawasaki 500 .
Many fine memories . :)

I have a 6x8 open trailer that I fit 3 bikes on , along with tool chests .
I've always wanted an enclosed unit , but stuck with the open . The elements definitely take a toll .
My bikes aren't near as pretty as they were when we took to the road about 13 years ago .

We've recently been looking for our 'Shangrila' . A place we can 'base' from and eventually stay . Some places have come very close and would do nicely , but seem to disappear shortly before we get there . Mirages comes to mind . ;)

Welcome PDcomm. Good to see you here. I think if my house had wheels and towed motorcycles it would highly influence my travel plans. If you ever decide to get a new RV you should look at one of the toy hauler types that has a spot for bikes right in the back.

Enjoy the site!

We considered every type of RV when we started our research for our lifestyle change .
Every type has it's good and bad points .
We decided we wanted quality above all . Then , ease of setup/take-down and a unit that is completely self contained .
Our Monaco fits our needs and wants very nicely .
The only thing I really miss is my shop . The place I tinkered with and fixed just about anything .
Here's our rig at camp in a nature park we volunteered at for 4 summers :

Looks nice, but one small issue, bike goes under canopy. ;)

Good eye , Les .
During the dry day(s) that little bike can be parked where ever , as I'm likely to get on and run somewhere at any time .
Over night and rain days , it gets parked under the bedroom slide , toward the rear of the coach . ;)
