Kawasaki's new ZX400R sport bike has been approved for sale in the state by CARB - California's emmissions board.
Notoriously stringent on emmissions, it has been shown that the 400cc inline 4 cyl engine produces less emissions that the comparable twin.
In my opinion, this little bike is going to be very successful. I believe if the 400R brings inline engine power to a small framed bike they are going to be a blast to ride. A wise man once told me "It is more fun to ride a slow bike fast than it is to ride a fast bike slow." I gotta agreee. My 1100 has lots of ponies in the barn but I can only bring out a few at a time to play with them.
