I have always loved the VT750 - had 3 and considered it the perfect bike for me. I don't have a Shadow atm but have an eye on a VN800. Anyone have an opinion on the comparison between these 2 bikes?

Well dang it. That is a good question. I think for my ergonomics, I like the Shadow better. I like the way it looks better too. I think both have been around long enough that there are lots of aftermarket parts. I think the Vulcan actually sounds better and maybe have a little more performance. I guess it boils down to price for me and how well either of them look when checking them out.

Thanks. They look very similar dimensionally but I agree the Shadow looks better to me too. But I am biased. The price is good so I could ride it for a year and sell if I find something else.
