On several forums I put together a Monthly and Annual Mileage Challenges. Is this something y'all would be interested in. While many here already do one on another forum, this is a different group. Rules are, post odometer picture at first of the month, then one before midnight, central time last, last day of month. The one with highest mileage get bragging rights. Doing a monthly challenge gives folks with different weather a chance in their peak riding months. We have a lot of fun with this. It would be a great time to start with a new year fixing to start. Thoughts?

As you can tell, it's really all about total mileage, but smiles per mile. If we have enough interest I'll get the challenges started.

I am in. With my 1 1/2 mile commute to work I am not likely to make any impressive numbers though.

Yes and no. Some months he rides thousands, other months I actually beat him. The Harley forum is where there are big mileage riders with several in the 4k a month plus every month.

Another benefit for participating, you look at your mileage monthly and can see when maintenance is due.

Well looks like enough interest to start. I'll get the monthly and annual threads started shortly. I got with my trophy guy, , and put together a few ideas. We will use the same trophy and the "winnner" will get their name on it.

I have a question back to you Les; can you use the trophy that closest resembles the monthly winner?

Yes I can. So you did notice I picked three samples similar to HD, Sport and a Metric. It was easier picking a trophy on a model specific site than here. I'll add that to the pole. These three trophies are easy to change and would like to stick to them or one very similar.
