My last bike was a 2010 GSXR 600 which I bought new in 2011. The 600 wasn’t sold in the US that year so I didn’t see many others on forums with the same bike. Lo and behold a member showed up who had the same bike AND was local! He was a new rider and wanted help with some basic maintenance practices. He rode to my place, we prepped the bikes and then took the twins for a nice ride.

I still don’t see my type of bike out there in either the SVTC or Eluder model.
But meeting up with another forum member just to see another in the wild is awesome.
I would share a picture but it doesn’t allow me to add a photo or paste one in the post.
Once I have this option I will.

Weird. You should be able to add photos, you posted a couple vids did you not?. I know they are working on completing the roll out of the site so I'm not worrying about interuptions too much quite yet. If you don't get that ability back send me a PM or use the "Site Issues" section once it is available.

Actually, my current ride is a 89 GSXR 1100 and the guy I bought it off of had two. So she also has a sister. He is a good friend and we ride together often. I'll post those in a thread once we are up and running 100%.

Here is a pic of my current bike with her sister. A guy literally around the corner from my house owned both. I bought a rolling frame and several crates of parts from him to make the blue one. He rides the black one. Not often you see one 1100 let alone two the same year. The sound the two make together is pretty cool as well. He is running full headers and I have the OEM duals.

That looks like a LOT of bike to wrestle on the twistys.
You would think so but some of those guys can haul. If my memory serves, the time record for the Tail of the Dragon was held by a guy on a Goldwing for a long long time. I think the only challenge is not dragging hard parts.

Yup. I love to watch those Zen Masters on their police bikes - doing the cones in a parking lot.

Very Nice.
I like that you built it from the ground up.
Awesome.

Thanks. It was a project with my sons & we had a blast. When I really got into the parts in the crates I realized the only thing that wasn't OEM was the exhaust. At that point we changed direction and started working towards the best representation we could do for a factory correct bike. We had no intention of hiding the fact it has seen a few miles. It was deep cleaned and painted some brackets etc. Lets just say she has patina...

It is a lot of bike but I handle it fairly well.
My bike before this was a 2016 Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager and got to know that bike very well and threw that around similar to the motorcycle police. I did train with the motorcycle police training officer and that was awesome but I did mess up the iron cross, for some reason I kept messing that up.
Anyway on this bike I am not as good but I do throw it around good in the twisties.
I have it in one of my video on the Tail of the Dragon where I am pushing these guys in front and when we got to the end the guy I was pushing got off his bike and the other two and I was thinking oh crap they are coming after me but no the guy says Man you are riding that big boy. (Something like that, I can’t remember the exact words but it is at the very end of video)
Some folks have come up to me after stopping and make comments.
Sometimes I think when folks do see what I do on this bike they just shake their heads.
The roads around here where I live many of them and more challenging than the tail of the dragon and one of the roads is 129 which leads up to the tail.
Check out the videos I have on my YouTube channel. One of my favorite roads is Rt60 going to Suches GA to a place called Two Wheels Only.
Here is a picture of my motorcycle police training.
I am the one in the middle.

So I was finally able to post pictures.
This is one of two SVTC that I was seen in the wild with.

My dealer sold 7 SVTC and 4 Eluders and I haven’t seen one yet.
Now that I said/wrote that maybe I will shortly.🤔
If the Eluder had come out a year earlier I might be on one of them today rather than my Indian. I prefer a frame mounted fairing to the batwing handlebar type.

I have met a couple of other R3T the same color as my Brahma. This one belongs to Richard, a fellow about 45 minutes away from my house.
I have never seen an R3 in the wild, but hope one day to be able to get a good look at one in person. All the pictures I see of it, including the ones you posted, make it look so massive. Riding an SVTC makes me think I'm kind of familiar with large bikes, so that means the R3 looks like a special kind of big.

BTW, good luck with Brahma's heart transplant, hope that goes well.

@AlanRides I bet you'd have no issues on the bigger R3T; (the R3R weighs about 60# less). I sure did love the power Yamato had (2006 Stratoliner). But it is far less than that of the R3. I'm guessing your SVTC has the same power numbers as the Strat but with a little more weight. I haven't got to ride one yet and looks like they have ended the line on them. Shame too...
